Membership

Everyone must show a recognised form of identification, this should include their name, current address and, where possible, a photograph.

For none electrical equipment i.e. wheelchairs and walkers, no appointment is necessary, but allow time for filling out the membership forms.

For electrical equipment an appointment must be made in advance. Scooter users: before becoming a member you must first be escorted around the town centre by a member of staff, therefore the first appointment must be made in advance.

Electric Wheelchairs: proof of training must be provided as we are unable to give training in Power Chairs.

Whatever equipment you wish to use it is always advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment on the busier days.
